Every day, each of us produces a lot of garbage. Where does this waste end up? They are usually sent to the garbage dump first, and then they may be sent to the landfill. However, the operating cost of the landfill is extremely high, and the cost of processing one ton of garbage is about 400 to 600 yuan. In human society, the massive consumption of resources, large-scale production and consumption inevitably lead to the massive generation of garbage. These garbage that have not been sorted, recycled, reused or properly disposed of have undoubtedly caused serious pollution to the environment.
In the face of the garbage problem, we are not helpless. Garbage sorting is the solution. By sorting and placing garbage at the source, and through sorting, transportation, recycling and other means, garbage can be transformed into valuable resources.
On November 27, 2021, Kinmore held a garbage collection and sorting volunteer activity around the company, aiming to encourage every employee to actively participate in garbage sorting and jointly build a beautiful ecological civilization. The event received a wide range of response from employees.
In the afternoon of the event, all employees of Kinmore gathered downstairs and began to collect and sort the surrounding garbage according to the established groups and areas. The activity included picking up leaves, peels, cans and other garbage, and sorting them. Non-recyclable garbage was put into the trash can, while recyclable items such as cans and mineral water bottles were properly sorted. During the activity, everyone put the garbage found along the way, such as beverage bottles, fast food boxes, plastic bags, peels, etc., into environmental protection bags and then put them into the trash can.
Every participant was fully committed, hoping to contribute to the call of environmental protection.
After two hours of joint efforts, the environmental protection bags were filled with various garbage collected by everyone.
As the activity ended successfully, everyone took a group photo. We call on more people to join the environmental protection action of garbage classification and practice environmental protection public welfare with practical actions.
Kinmore Motor’s garbage collection and classification environmental protection public welfare activity was a complete success. Through this activity, we not only enhanced the environmental awareness of employees, but also made them deeply aware of the importance of environmental protection, and encouraged them to start from themselves and care for our environment. We hope that all citizen of society can protect the environment through their own actions. This event is just a starting point. In the future, we will continue to launch more public welfare environmental protection activities to contribute to the sustainable development of the earth.
